THE SCOOP ON MILAN FASHION WEEK, A/W 09/10

Burberry Prorsum took on contemporary reminiscence as the theme for a modern take on old-fashioned romance - suede coats and a trench coat with back pleats got the major thumbs up. Bottega Veneta had simple yet chic flattened silhouettes in black, white and nude tones.

Elsewhere D&G showcased dresses with exaggerated Elizabethan hips and heavy silk and satin corsets. On the contrary there was also sharp masculine tailoring with gold embellishments and hanging tassels. D&G also suggested that little evening bags to hang from the wrist will be key next season.

Our favourite had to be the DSquared runway, with mix and match heaven! White shirts, battered denim, oversized scarves and wait for it... tight leather trousers! (no way!)

Finally it seems that suede ankle boots will be a key trend for the season to come so ladies watch this space! Oh, and if your after a little fashion fix bargain, check out our suede effect Black Bow Ankle Boots, currently on sale at less than 15!
