SHOES SKECTHED IN STYLE AT LFW 2013

The London Fashion Week schedule has been issued a few weeks ago, and in preparation for the 2013 shows an exciting collaboration has been announced, involving the iconic shoe designer Manolo Blahnik and the British Fashion Council.

An exclusive imaginary will be shown at the autumn/ winter 2014 shows across all campaigns, adverts and marketing material in print and digital. We still recall last season’s collaboration courtesy of Jonathan Saunders but when it involves shoes and Manolo’s sketches it will most definitely be some exciting visuals to look forward too!

Carrie Bradshaw’s favourite shoe designer told British Vogue: "I'm very excited and privileged to have been asked to work on this project, particularly as I have never done anything like this before. It is my cartoonish tribute to fabulous English women."

These fabulous sketches containing mostly trees nature and the inevitable, shoes will be the result of blank canvas and an open brief given to the designer by the British Fashion Council who seems to be as excited. In fact Caroline Rush, chief executive of the BFC revealed to British Vogue: "We are so pleased to be collaborating with Manolo Blahnik, Manolo's sketches are world-famous and it will be both great fun and inspirational to see these displayed across London Fashion Week in February 2013."

Besides the exciting fashion trends that will be revealed throughout London Fashion Week, February will bring us some fabulous and beautiful sketches signed with elegance and style by the legendary shoe designer such as Manolo Blahnik.
