RIHANNA - LETS TALK THAT TALK
Yes, you guessed it! We are talking about that Barbados sensation who sang “You Don’t Love Me (No, No, No)”. But eight years later, we are still in love with Rihanna and how can one not like that 24-year-old singing whiz who also conquered the fashion world with her extravagant and youthful look. Riri is one of the most-coveted red carpet walkers by top designers for she is a steady style-setter. Although everyone, from Zac Posen to Tom Ford, would offer her the Earth to wear their designs, the starlet is now on the hunt for somebody fresh and new to fill her wardrobe.
Add “executive producer” and “host” to Rihanna’s impressive work resume and get set for her new reality show, starting in August. Styled to Rock will follow “a new generation of raw, unknown fashion designers” who will be mentored by top names in the fashion industry to create outfits for A-list celebrities and high-profile events. In about ten weeks time from the beginning of the show the pop singer and her three fellow judges – her own stylist Lysa Cooper, Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts and British designer Henry Holland – will pick up a winner, who will create an “on-stage” costume for Riri’s Wireless performance in Hyde park this year. Although the festival already took place and the winning outfit is revealed, the name of the lucky designer is kept in secret until the end of the show.
