THE COVER UPS TO WEAR THIS SUMMER
Task Number One of the summer has already been completed - You have your bikini in hand. Now, it’s time to think about what to wear to cover up in-between the dips in the pool. Luckily, this season has presented a selection of original cover ups to choose from.
My preferred choice is the crocheted mini or oversized shirt. It fits nicely in a beach handbag and hides some of areas that we are less confident about, while also letting the beautiful bikini we picked show through. The tunic with a plunging V-neck is also one of my favourites. It is especially recommended, if you have nice cleavage to show off. You can also try wearing a simple, sweet sundress or maxidress. They’re easy to slip on and look casual enough to walk through town with. If you’re uncomfortable with showing your thighs but want to show off the hard work you put into your abs, you might also want to try a nicely patterned sarong. You can match its colour with that of your swimsuit, for instance.
Finally, if you wish to accessorise your beach look, try wearing long necklaces and dangly earrings, which will match your cover up. Most importantly, don’t forget the oversized, straw sun hat – the summer must-have.
Enjoy the sun!
