NEON LIGHTS - FLASH THE COLOURS THIS SUMMER
Summer is already here so push away the greys and make way for the bright neons. Yes, I do know neons are flat out flashy but hey its summer and don’t we all like being showy. Neon colours were quite famous in the 80’s and since flash was that era’s middle name, it’s time to bring it back.
I know we have all dreaded the brightly coloured, high-waist pants, but it is a trend that everyone remembers. High waist skirts with a neon pink shirt, or even yellow leggings make a statement. Ruffled maxi skirts with halter necks and pumps reflect chic, while a low neck blouse with a yellow bodycon skirt makes you ready to hit the clubs.
Neon accessories are also available at various retail stores. If you are the subtle kind then I’d say go for neon bangles and earrings. Feather earrings in neon colours are available at your local stores. Accessorise with necklaces, handbags as well as neon coloured shoes and you are ready to go. Make sure you don’t overdo it though, as you don’t want to look like a broadway sign.
