The American Brand Vans, known for its alternative sports symbol like skateboarding and snowboarding attracting mostly teenagers and adventure seekers, has announced collaboration with the Japanese Luxury brand based in Paris, Kenzo. Both design houses have agreed on launching three capsule collections to be released in May, June and July 2012, merging styles, colours and prints for a bright summer!

The first collection is a remake of the famous ‘Era’ design from Vans with a twist, adding the bright colours and the ‘fishing net’ print of the latest Kenzo collections. The ‘Era’ skate shoe will be available in seven different colours of which we count bright blue, white, green and red; A unisex shoes collection to be launched in Mid-May 2012.

Infusing the very athletic style of the American Iconic brand Vans into the luxurious fashion house Kenzo, a rich poetic label, mixing art and fashion with multicultural references, is expected to be a unique experience bringing different tastes, different customers and age groups together.

For all Vans fans or Kenzo clients, Fashionistas and Avant-Gardists, this is the perfect must-have pair of athletics to have this season, starting at £80 and available in all Kenzo stores.
