KEIRA KNIGHTLY IN CHANEL AT ANNA KARENINA MOVIE PREMIERE

Luckily for our favourite starlet Keira Knightley, 2001 is (according to Hollywood standards) in the distant past and that dreadful sheer lace top, which we spotted on the Bridget Jones’s Diary premiere in London, is, if not forgotten, then long forgiven. The young actress was, obviously, in serious need of a style intervention in the beginning of her career. It seems Keira followed strictly all fashion tips she received because today the star from Bend it Like Beckham is one of our favourite red-carpet walkers.

It was then no surprise that she wowed the sea of onlookers at the world premiere of her new film, Anna Karenina, on September the 4th in London. Keira, who plays the lead role of protagonist Anna in the latest adaptation of Leo Tolstoy’s Russian tale of love, once again teamed up with Chanel for an elegant and graceful look.

The British beauty, who is also the face of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle perfume, was stunning in a peach coloured floor-sweeping design. The floral embroidered gown matched the romantic theme of the movie, although we are not very sure about the metallic silver belt that supposedly gave the soft creation a bit of an edgy appearance. Unfortunately, the pair of Rupert Sanderson shoes got no airtime, due to the length of the dress.

Not only managed Keira to work the striking floor-length gown effortlessly (or so it seems on all photos), but she also nailed that porcelain beauty look of a real English rose that suits her better than anyone else.
