MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL

Most girls grew up reading fairytales and quoting Disney films; I for one would often be found singing (badly) along to Snow White with a plastic tiara on my head. I would often check the red apples thoroughly for any signs of poison too - 19 years on, I’m safe and no birds have swung by to make my bed for me after they’ve heard my singing voice. The visualisation of Snow White is set to have a Hollywood transformation as film adaptation Mirror Mirror starring Lily Collins, Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer is now showing in cinemas nationwide. The retelling of the well-known tale has certainly taken the attire of a princess to a whole new level. Expect the dresses to be spun with lavish material and costumes made from luxury fabric. It doesn’t end there as even the tiara has the stamp of royal approval. Collins and Roberts acting as the roles of Snow White and the evil Queen wears a tiara that was once worn by none other than Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco herself. Princess-worthy indeed!

Designed by Van Cleef & Arpels, this invaluable item is set in platinum and white gold encased with 144 diamonds and totals 77.34 carats. Featuring pear-shaped, marquise-shaped and round diamonds – this priceless piece is certainly fit for royalty and puts my plastic crown complete with stuck on gems to shame. Regardless of whether her skin is as pale as snow, or lips as red as blood – with this tiara perched on top of her head, she’s definitely the fairest of them all.
