LONDON FASHION WEEK

OK, it may seem ridiculous that Spring/Summer 2012 still hasn't arrived (or never will!) and we are already planning S/S 2013! Next month London will be hosting Fashion week - sponsored by Vodafone - at Somerset house between 14th - 18th September and extending for London Fashion weekend between the 20th - 23rd September. It'll be a packed week with the shows starting at 9am and finishing up to 8.45pm each day. Three years ago LFW celebrated their 25th anniversary.

London Fashion week will feature some designers to have their very first solo catwalk, this includes Lucas Nascimento and Marques Almeida. Burberry, House of Holland and Matthew Williamson are just some of the names which will be seen on the catwalk over the few days.

At a reception at the Royal Academy of Arts this week Kate Middleton wore a dress by Roksanda Ilinic,  as pointed out by Grazia Daily, who is a designer to to look out for at LFW this year.

So what is expected on the catwalk? Garden party and tropic prints along with festival trends have been predicted. Following London 2012, an Olympic style trend is also expected, continuing from SS12 where many stores featured sports style wear.

What are you hoping to see on the catwalk this September?
