Slogans have popped up all over the catwalks from the likes of Louis Vuitton to Ashish and Kenzo to name but a few. We’re not surprised considering all the sportswear styling of recent seasons; it was inevitable that short crop tops and t-shirts would see slogans and mottos eventually plastered all over them.
Loud, shout-out slogans are hitting the mainstream. But in effect, we are not so convinced of the classiness of this trend. I, personally, think that the head-to-toe look should be left at home and instead a single, understated message is the look of great style. Or, if you insist on going all out, why not do it with one single item, for example a printed scarf!
