FIND UNEXPECTED PLEASURES IN JEWELLERY
They say ‘Diamonds are a girl’s best friend’, but how about scampi’s, screws and chicks?
If you can’t find what suits you best on the high street and you fancy some eccentric, one of kind jewellery, then your next destination should be the Design Museum in London! For the first time the venue will be holding an exhibition devoted only to jewellery design gathering the world’s most unusual creations in one place.
The exhibition redefines the meaning behind jewellery design, how we as customers perceive those creations that have become daily accessories in comparison with the point of vue of the maker and the designer!
Bringing together over 200 pieces from around the world featuring British as well International artists such as Wendy Ramshaw, renown for her complex geometric designs, Hans Stofer's, Gijs Bakker’s conceptual adornments and Dorothea Pruhl.
Far from being part of the Christmas spirit with its scampi bracelet and rusty screws ring, the exhibition is however a great destination to add to your holiday’s calendar starting on December the 5th until March the 3rd it definitely enriching for the eye and spirit.
