ALEXA CHUNG TO LAUNCH HER OWN FASHION LABEL
Hope you’ve saved up, girls, because the English queen of style has just announced she’s planning the launching of her own fashion label and that’s a must-have for every self-respecting fashionista!
In an interview for the Japanese fashion magazine Numero Tokyo, the British model shared that designing her own line is definitely on her “to-do” list and she’s “looking into it right now”.
"In this current era of celebrity no one believes you actually design the stuff anyway, even though I sketch everything myself. So if it sucks I can say I had nothing to do with it, and if it's really good I can say 'Here are the drawings, it's all my own work!'” she told Numero Tokyo.
Oh, don’t worry, Alexa, we are sure you can make even a garbage bag look like a red carpet gown.
The model-turned-presenter is loved for her “granny chick” style and has been granted the Style Icon award at the British Fashion Awards twice. Her classy, but playful look, has earned her the adoration of fashion lovers like us, but also turned her into muse for designers worldwide, among which British Mulberry, who even named a handbag after the 28-year-old beauty.
Her fashion icon responsibilities are growing by the day, after Alexa was also chosen to represent the UK as a Young Style Ambassador for the British Fashion Council.
