A WEATHER-PROOF WARDROBE MAY SHOWER MACS!
"Drip, drip, drop Little May shower, what can compare with your beautiful sound?” How about a beautiful and fashionable rain mac?! With pesky May showers, and our not-so- apparent drought, it seems rain coats are the IT accessory of the moment and unfortunately we have to put the flowing pastel dresses and crop tops on hold… for a while. It’s time to divert our attention to the colourful macs, sporty cagoules and heritage duffels that are rife amongst designers and high street stores.
If you don’t want to go for anything too bold and yellow, like the Burberry Brit yellow trench coat, then stick with the spring fling of pastels. Light blues, corals and lilacs are perfect raincoat colours to brighten the mood on a dim day. If you prefer to stick with muted colours, then why not follow the metallic/90s grunge trend? Gun-metal grey and silver macs, along with grungy parka coats keep you bang on trend and completely dry. Instead of covering your outfit with a hideous (but sensible) coat, make this seasons macs THE outfit.
